Engineering for Humans

Interactive teaching tutorials on human perception, cognition and motor control theories, designed for general engineering students to apply human-centred design methods in their own fields.

Keystroke-Level Model (KLM)

A predictive model on the time it takes for an expert user to accomplish a routine task without errors using an interactive computer system.

Consumed Endurance

A predictive model on the fatigue or consumed energy of a user from sustaining an interaction.

Fitts' Law

A predictive model of human movement, often used to model the act of pointing.

Hick-Hyman Law

A description on the time it takes for a person to make a decision as a result of the possible choices he or she has.

Multiple Resource Theory

A predictive model on the relative differences in task interference between different task configurations.

Independent work designed and developed by me, under the instruction of prof. Antti Oulasvirta, during my summer intern as a research assistant at User Interfaces research group (Espoo, Finland) | Jun. - Aug. 2017
